Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge-action system secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail groove and pull together, creating high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail) for exceptionally secure glass mounting. Imagine the holding force along the full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers a secure attachment plus industry-leading installation speed. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After installing the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System provides 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide position. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
