The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills reduces contact area for improved grinding action and better coolant penetration—ideal for glass drilling and compatible with portable tripod and cup-style machines. These plated diamond drill bits are machined from solid steel for durability; when fully worn they can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life. For best performance use with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerge the bit in a retaining ring.


Safety: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools near water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
