CRL Thread Protecting Nylon Allen Screws are used to protect the threaded holes in steel attachments from concrete contamination, and provide a clearance area behind the attachment. Simply insert the Nylon Allen Screws until the top is flush with the steel attachment. Cover with duct tape to protect the wrench opening. After the steel attachment is set in concrete, remove the tape and Nylon Allen Screws so the Base Shoe can be attached.
