The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills reduces contact area to improve grinding action and increase coolant penetration. Ideal for glass drilling with portable tripod and cup-style machines, these plated diamond drill bits are the most durable in our line and are machined from solid steel. Use with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerge the bit in a retaining ring for best results. When fully worn, these plated drills can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.

Key use cases: precision glass hole drilling, glazing applications, tempered glass pilot holes when used with proper jigs and cooling.

Safety & equipment notes: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, and perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. We recommend using a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow precautions can result in operator injury.
