The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: AG3) reduces contact area for improved grinding action and better coolant penetration. These plated diamond glass drill bits are machined from solid steel for maximum durability and are ideal for use in portable tripod and cup-style drilling machines. For best results use with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerge the bit in a retaining ring while drilling. Once fully worn, these plated drills can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.


Safety & Installation Notes: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. We recommend using a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
