CRL Self-Drilling Screws (SKU 20061601) combine a hardened drill point and screw into one time-saving fastener. Precision machined and heat-treated, these self-drilling screws drill their own hole, form mating threads, and complete the fastening in a single operation—reducing labor and eliminating pre-drilling or hole alignment issues.
Self-drilling screws for metal perform reliably in carbon steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, stainless steel, fiberglass and some thin plastics. Their design allows fastening of dissimilar thicknesses and often reduces the number of fasteners required compared with traditional methods.
CRL self-drilling screws bring speed, mobility and economy to on-site assembly and fabrication.
