The CRL 8B Series Square Base Shoe is a lightweight alternative to the traditional B7S Series, offering a 30% reduction in weight.
Ideal for glass railing and windscreen applications, it is designed for use with 3/4" (19 mm) monolithic tempered glass undrilled base shoes.
This product can be easily cut to length with a chop saw, making it both user-friendly and cost-effective.
Meeting NBC load requirements when installed per ICC-3269, the 8B Series is compatible with CRL's TAPER-LOC® System, providing a reliable and sustainable solution for your glass railing needs.
Note: Direct powder coating is not recommended; instead, opt for powder-coated cladding over the base shoe.
