The CRL 8B Series Square Base Shoe is a premium choice for glass railing and windscreen applications, offering a design that is 30% lighter than the traditional B7S Series.
This eco-friendly and cost-effective option is engineered specifically for use with 3/4" (19 mm) monolithic tempered glass undrilled base shoes.
It seamlessly integrates with CRL's patented TAPER-LOC® System and can be easily cut to the desired length using a chop saw with a minimum 10" (254 mm) aluminum saw blade, meeting NBC load requirements when installed per ICC-3269 guidelines.
Please note, CRL advises against direct powder coating of this base shoe; instead, apply powder-coated cladding over the extrusion for optimal results.
