Overview
The CRL 9BL68D Series Square Base Shoe is an innovative solution for 11/16" (17.52 mm) laminated tempered glass, specifically designed to align with the 2015 IBC Code Changes.
This lightweight base shoe, 30% lighter than the industry standard, not only provides significant savings on shipping costs but also meets and exceeds a 200 lb load with a 4x safety factor.
Engineered for durability and compatibility, it works seamlessly with CRL's patented TAPER-LOC® System and meets NBC load requirements when installed according to ICC-3842 guidelines.
Please consult with your glass fabricator before wet setting laminated tempered glass, and note that powder coating directly on the base shoe is not recommended.
