The CRL 9BL68F Series Square Base Shoe is specifically designed for 11/16" (17.52 mm) laminated tempered glass and is engineered to meet the 2015 IBC code changes.
This innovative product is 30% lighter than the industry standard, making it more cost-effective, eco-friendly, and reducing shipping expenses.
The base shoe is compatible with CRL's patented TAPER-LOC® System and can be easily cut to size using a chop saw with a minimum 10" (254 mm) diameter blade for aluminum cutting.
Please note, CRL advises against direct powder coating of this extrusion; instead, apply powder-coated cladding over the base shoe for optimal results.
For installation, ensure to place the base shoe in its final position to mark and drill the substrate accurately.
