The CRL Low-E CARD+® (SKU: AE2250) is a wallet-sized, replaceable-battery Low-E detector card designed for quick identification of low-emissivity (Low-e) coatings on insulating glass. This "+" model uniquely indicates whether the Low-e coating is on Surface 1, Surface 2, or if the glass is uncoated, and—like the AE2200—contains no metal contacts so it safely tests all glass types. Available with custom branding for orders of 100+ units, the card can be printed with your company logo and sales message for use in factories or as a customer giveaway. Minimum order for single units is one each.

Product Warning & Battery Replacement (AE2250)

This unit has a built-in, replaceable battery. To replace the battery: place the Low-E CARD+ label side down, locate the notch, and use a paperclip to remove the battery by pulling the paperclip toward the lower edge of the card. Install the new battery with the positive (+) side down. Requests for credit must be made immediately after receipt of the product; delayed requests are subject to inspection due to limited battery life. Damage claims denied due to battery consumption will be charged in full plus inspection costs. The unit carries a 6-month warranty on parts and construction; at CRL’s option the unit will be repaired or replaced. Signs of damage, misuse, or alteration void the warranty.
