GE® 1000 is a one-part acetic cure silicone sealant formulated for general purpose glazing and curtainwall sealing where long-term reliability is required. Ideal for glazing, metal or plastic signs, skylights, ventilators, HVAC systems, and glass block structures.

Basic Uses

Well suited for general sealing and bedding applications: sheet metal, skylights, ventilators, air conditioning systems, signs, glass block, and marine hardware bedding.

Limitations

Not intended for structural glazing or masonry. Not recommended for aquariums, bathrooms, concrete, marble, limestone, lead, zinc, or submerged applications, or mirror installations without manufacturer approval. Not for glazing two-part silicone edge-sealed insulating glass units. Refer to cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for complete limitations.
