Dow Corning® 995 (SKU: 995BL) is a one-component, shelf-stable, neutral-cure, elastomeric silicone adhesive formulated for silicone structural glazing and protective glazing applications. It is self-priming to most common building substrates and cures to a tough elastomeric rubber with ±50% movement capability.
Basic Uses
CRL Dow Corning® 995 Silicone Structural Adhesive provides excellent unprimed adhesion to glass, reflective glass, anodized aluminum, granite, and most paints (including many fluoropolymer-based finishes). It produces non-corrosive by-products and offers a 20-year performance warranty option. Dow 995 is the approved adhesive component of the 3M® Ultraflex Window System, which combines 3M® Scotchshield Ultra Safety and Security Window Film for enhanced protection against crime, severe weather, explosions, earthquakes, and accidents. Structural applications require prior testing and written review by Dow Corning®.
