GE® 1000 Silicone Sealant (SKU: SCS1003) is a one-part acetic-cure silicone formulated for general-purpose glazing and curtainwall sealing where long-term weather resistance and flexibility are required. Ideal as a reliable glazing and perimeter seal, it withstands temperatures from -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C) and can be applied at outdoor temperatures down to -35°F (-37°C) when surfaces are clean, dry, and frost-free.

Well suited for glazing and general sealing on sheet metal, skylights, ventilators, HVAC systems, metal or plastic signs, glass block structures, and as bedding for marine hardware. Acetic cure silicone for glazing and curtainwall applications, providing long-term durability and ±25% joint movement capability.

Meets or exceeds: Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A (COM-NBS) Class A and TT-S-00230C (COM-NBS) Class A; ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, G, A and O; CAN/CGSB-19.13-M87. USDA, FDA, NSF status documented on product literature.

Not for structural glazing or masonry. Not recommended for aquariums; bathrooms; concrete, marble, limestone, lead, zinc, or submerged/below-water use; mirror installations without mirror manufacturer approval; or glazing two-part silicone edge-sealed insulating glass units.
