CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are engineered for tempered safety glass 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) and expand application possibilities for frameless shower doors. Designed as top-and-bottom pivot hinges, they carry most of the door weight at the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—ideal for left-hand offset bracket wall mount shower installations and other custom shower configurations. These self-centering pivot hinges use four springs for maximum retention strength and offer full rotation swing for smooth operation. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets are available separately to alter the closing position by 5º; they can be installed before or retrofitted after installation. The Cardiff Series is also adaptable to the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Capacity: Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
