The American Style Patch Lock (SKU: AMR215CCBS) is a heavy-duty patch lock for glass doors and a robust alternative to the AMR205. Its taller profile secures more glass inside the housing for enhanced perimeter security. Designed specifically for top and bottom corner applications, this patch lock accepts either double-keyed cylinders or a keyed cylinder with thumbturn (ordered separately). A keeper is supplied; optional keepers are available to fit most installations.
GLASS FABRICATION REQUIRED:
Top or Bottom Mount:
One 3/4" (19 mm) diameter hole and one corner notch required on the glass.
COMES WITH: Template and instructions for glass door patch lock installation.
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Double-keyed cylinders; keyed cylinder/thumbturn; optional keepers (must be ordered separately).
DOUBLE DOOR APPLICATION:
For double-door installations, a bottom patch lock is required on the inactive leaf to properly secure the pair of doors.
Stainless Steel Advisory:
Although stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant, it is not completely rust- or stain-proof. CRL recommends periodic maintenance to preserve the factory finish. For details, see the Stainless Steel Disclaimer in the Technical References section below.
