CRL Z-Series Square Type Radius Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z706BS) — a compact radius-base glass clamp engineered for 2" (51 mm) diameter round tubing. Fits 1/4"–5/16" (6–8 mm) glass; constructed in zinc or stainless steel for interior and exterior railing, partition and windbreak installations. Ideal as a tempered glass clamp for mezzanine and railing projects.

Installation notes: For attaching the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (<1/8"), use CRL ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole and install the rivet-nut with the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool and 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece. If using the included steel pin for extra glass support, drill the required hole in the glass (see glass fabrication below).

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required in the glass when using the steel pin for additional support on 1/4"–3/8" panels.

Product warning: For interior and exterior applications, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel when the panel is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
