This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z912BS) is engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) glass and provides a secure, low-profile connection for square tubing or other flat mounting surfaces. Available in zinc or stainless steel, these square flat base clamps are suitable for interior and exterior applications when stainless steel or powder-painted zinc is specified for enhanced durability.

For securing the Z-clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8”), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole and install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 9/16" (14.3 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin (included) for additional glass support.

Product Warning:
For interior and exterior installations, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel when the panel is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
