This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU Z912MBL) secures 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass to square tubing or other flat surfaces. Constructed from zinc or stainless steel, the clamp is engineered for railing systems, mezzanine guards, partitions and exterior windbreaks where a low-profile, flat-base glass clamp is required.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt with ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 9/16" (14.3 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

• For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) thick glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin.
• For 1/2" (12 mm) thick glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin.

Product Warning:
For interior and exterior applications, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel when the panel is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
