This CRL Z-Series Round Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z512BS) secures 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass and is available in zinc or stainless steel. Designed for applications such as partitions, railings, mezzanines and windbreaks, the Z-Series clamp combines a flat base design with included rubber gaskets and an optional steel support pin for reliable panel retention.

For securing the clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Glass Fabrication:
- For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required when using the steel pin for support.
- For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required when using the steel pin for support.

Product Warning:

For interior and exterior installations, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel when the bottom edge does not support the panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
