This CRL Z-Series Round Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z512PS) fits 1/2" (12 mm) glass and is engineered for partitions, mezzanines, railings and windbreaks. Available in zinc or stainless steel, the flat-base design secures glass to square tubing or other flat surfaces—an ideal glass railing clamp solution for interior and exterior projects.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8”), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the Rivet-Nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Glass Fabrication:
For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using the provided steel pin for glass support.
For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using the provided steel pin for glass support.
Includes: Rubber gaskets and steel pin (optional use) with grommet

Product Warning:

For interior and exterior installations CRL recommends pinning each glass panel when the panel is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
