CRL Watertight Cover Plates (SKU VL2CH) are engineered as a direct replacement for the standard hinge cover plate to reduce water leakage at the hinge and center block. No modifications are required—remove the standard cover plate and install the watertight cover plate for improved moisture protection. Ideal as a watertight hinge cover plate for glass door and storefront hinge installations where sealing the hinge gap is critical.

Product Warning:

NOTE: When using a watertight cover plate the door can only be opened outwards. We recommend installing a stop or jamb to prevent the door from being pushed inwards. Use only the template included with our hinge—cut-out dimensions for CRL hinges may not match other brands.
