CRL 6" x 10" Center Locks with Deadlatch deliver versatile security for glass doors, offering five distinct lock functions and compatibility with 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass. The lock’s operation depends on the selected function. Installation requires only a simple cut-out in the glass—no messy cement or silicone—making it ideal for retrofit and new construction glass door projects.
Office Lock Function: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side (outside lever can be locked by rocker in faceplate) or by key outside. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt to resist jimmying. Inside lever always retracts the lock for egress.
Entrance Lock: Latchbolt operated by lever on either side (outside lever can be locked by rocker in faceplate). Deadbolt operated by key outside and thumbturn inside; inside lever retracts both latchbolt and deadbolt for egress. NOTE: Not compatible with electric strikes.
Passage Lock: Levers always operable; latchbolt retractable at all times for free passage.
Storeroom Lock: Latchbolt operated by inside lever and by key outside; outside lever is fixed. Auxiliary latchbolt deadlocks the main latchbolt. Intended for use with electric strikes.
Classroom Lock: Latchbolt operable by lever on either side except when outside lever is locked by key; key operates latch or unlocks outside lever. Inside lever always operable for egress.
