CRL Mortise Mounted Shear Lock — Model GF3000 is a concealed, mortise-mounted shear lock engineered for commercial doors and Herculite® type doors. Its patented floating-magnet design lets the lock assembly move toward the armature during engagement, overcoming gaps up to 1/4" (6 mm) without current inrush. Key differentiators include a fully hidden installation, low operating temperature, and an adjustable automatic relock for reliable access control performance.


The GF3000 Series delivers up to 3000 lbs. shear holding force while operating efficiently on 12/24V DC power. Automatic voltage selection circuitry accepts filtered, regulated power supplies and reduces installation complexity for retrofit or new construction projects. Universal hardware is included for flush or recessed door-edge installation; a "BRD" floor-mount model is available when top-rail mounting is not possible.
