The Tin Side Detector (SKU: TS1301) quickly identifies the tin side of float glass and works with clear float glass or glass that has specialty coatings in most applications. When the lamp is placed on the tin side, the fluorescent image visibly glows; on the non-tin side the lamp appears normal. This compact, battery-powered tin-side tester uses a custom UV lamp for greater durability and efficiency while running on three AA batteries (included) for extended field use.
