Overview
The CRL Window Opening Control Device Kit "A" is specifically designed to enhance safety by preventing accidental falls, while still allowing for emergency egress.
This device is ideal for casement windows, as it limits the opening to less than 4 inches, meeting ASTM F2090-17 safety standards for self-resetting, fall prevention devices.
Note that SafeGard™ is not recommended for awning windows.
For installation, #8 pan head screws are advised, with the length and type dependent on the application.
This product ensures user-friendly operation by requiring no keys or tools for emergency release and automatically re-latches when the window is closed.
