Overview
The CRL UV604 is a highly effective medium viscosity, 100% solids adhesive, designed for exceptional glass-to-metal bonding.
This UV and visible light curable adhesive forms strong tensile shear and peel strength bonds with a wide range of substrates, including glass, laminated glass, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, ceramic, stone, wood, and certain plastics.
Notably, it's ideal for bonding laminated safety glass, as it cures completely with daylight exposure, even when the PVB film absorbs most UVA radiation.
The cured bonds are optically clear, moisture-resistant, and can withstand thermal cycling.
For optimal adhesion, use a Cleaner and Degreaser to prepare glass surfaces by removing dirt and grease.
Note that not all plastics can be bonded, and coated parts like powder-coated or galvanized surfaces should not be bonded with this adhesive.
Store CRL UV604 away from sunlight and note that it has a shelf life of 12 months from the date on the label.
