CRL Category II Safety Backing Tape for Mirrors is designed to make mirrors shatter-resistant and prevent serious bodily injury from glass fragments in case of accidental breakage.
This easy-to-apply, pressure-sensitive adhesive film is ideal for mirrored wardrobe doors needing Category II Mirror Safety Backing, featuring a woven scrim for high tensile and impact strength while preventing moisture entrapment.
Complying with ANSIZ97.1-2009 and 16CFR1201 for impact resistance, the tape comes in 600' rolls, with various shipping options available.
Please note that the only approved mastic for use with this tape is CRL Gunther Premier Plus Mirror Mastic, and ensure to clean the tape with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol when using other specified mastics.
For optimal performance, use within 18 months from the date of manufacture.
