Overview
The CRL DAP® '33'® Glazing Compound is an ideal choice for face glazing wood and metal window frames, offering a smooth and flexible consistency that's ready to use.
Its exceptional adhesion to glass and sash ensures an air and watertight seal, effectively resisting sagging, shrinking, chalking, and cracking.
Before application, make sure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of frost, and prime any unpainted wood sash with an oil-based primer.
Remember, this glazing compound must be painted once it has firmed up, typically within one to two weeks, to guarantee a lasting finish.
For best results, use high-quality oil-based paint or prime with an oil-based primer before applying latex paint.
Please note, the compound is not suitable for plastic window panes, stained/leaded glass projects, or metal sash with wide rabbets.
