CRL Dap® White Latex Window Glazing Compound - Paintable Sealant

CRL Dap® Latex Glazing is a smooth, easy-working compound designed for back-bedding and face-glazing window sash. It adheres to wood, aluminum, steel and galvanized sash to form a weathertight, shrink- and crack-resistant seal. Supplied in a 10.1 fl. oz. (300 ml) tube with a unique rectangular nozzle for uniform beads, it dispenses cleanly from the cartridge and excess glazing cleans up with soap and water before it sets. Dries to the touch in about two hours; typical time before painting is three to seven days depending on temperature and humidity. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and frost-free. For re-glazing, remove all old putty and bedding and tool glazing to an angle that sheds water. Ideal when you need a paintable, ready-to-use latex glazing compound for window repair and restoration.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Coverage: 33 linear feet (10 m) at 3/8" x 1/4" (9.5 x 6 mm) triangular cross section per cartridge. Meets ASTM Spec C-669-95.

LIMITATIONS:
Do not thin glazing compound. Do not apply when air or sash temperatures are below 40ºF (4ºC). Do not use on plastic windowpanes, insulating glass units with an organic seal, any windowpane over 48" (1.22 m) in length, or metal sash with rabbets over 1-1/4" (32 mm) wide. Also not recommended for stained or leaded glass projects.
