CRL Fortifiber Moistop® Sealant is an integral component of Fortifiber's moisture control system for walls. It is compatible with all of Fortifiber’s products and a wide range of building materials. A continuous bead on the window nail flange gives long lasting protection against moisture infiltration. It is the ideal choice for use in window and door installations.
Before installing the window (C), Apply a continuous bead of Moistop Sealant to the perimeter of the rough opening or to the backside of the mounting flange (D) of the window. Install the window according to the window manufacturer’s instructions.
