- No notches or holes required in the glass — true no‑drill installation
The CRL285 Series "Softbrake" Braking System is included with CRL285 Series sliding door kits and provides a soft-close function during the final 4" (102 mm) of travel to prevent impact against the frame or adjacent panel. One Softbrake is required for each direction of travel you want to control. Minimum panel width for single-direction control: 25-1/2" (650 mm); for bi-directional control: 39-3/8" (1 m). This compact, no-drill soft-close brake is ideal for glass sliding doors where preserving glass integrity and a clean aesthetic are priorities.
NOTE: Upgrade existing CRL280 Series installations easily by ordering this kit.
