Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPS58P) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for monolithic tempered glass doors, the system secures glass by applying downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the door rail, converting movement into high clamping force—over 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—delivering industry-leading glass retention for full-length rails as well.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide; the outer two adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. Low-profile adjustable slides allow pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) for vertically out-of-square openings.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails feature the built-in jamb alignment block. Arms, pivots, closer arms, and keyed cylinders/thumbturns (if required) must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
