Rixson® Overhead Stops and Holders are expertly designed to safeguard doors and entryways from damage caused by strong winds, high traffic, and vandalism.
Ideal for both interior and exterior doors, these surface-mounted stops and holders are perfect for new or retrofit installations.
The non-handed design and ANSI 156.8 Grade 1 certification ensure a versatile fit for any door type, while the multi-function slider allows for field selection of hold open, friction stay, or stop only.
With a heavy-duty shock absorber spring, these stops provide 5º to 7º compression before a firm dead-stop at a maximum opening of 110 degrees, making them suitable for medium traffic, medium weight doors.
Additionally, fasteners for both wood and metal frames are included, and for optimal results, periodic maintenance of the stainless steel is recommended.
