Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the patented CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The Wedge-Lock® system secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions seat into the door rail groove to clamp the glass—creating exceptional holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" Corner Rail). This design provides a secure, durable glass door rail system ideal for commercial glass doors and storefronts.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers fast installation for installers of glass doors and frameless entrances. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide (arm/pivot not included). The adjustable slide allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out door alignment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door—useful for out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and non-standard setback positions.
