Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SSA34P), is a patented, high-security frameless glass door rail designed for tempered monolithic glass. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail wedge, generating exceptional holding force — more than 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail — and dramatically higher along full-length rails. This patented mechanism makes the Wedge-Lock® system a top choice for secure commercial glass doors and frameless glass entrance systems.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides more than a secure attachment: it delivers fastest-in-class installation for door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without door removal — available on both top and bottom rails. To fine-tune after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide, the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
