The special diamond-and-bronze bond delivers longer life and faster, cooler cutting than standard diamond drills—typical life ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 holes in 1/4" (6.4 mm) glass with proper wet use and periodic sharpening on a wet stone. The full 3/8" (10 mm) deep cutting surface is packed with industrial diamonds for extended durability; because of their fragile multi-layer construction, these metal bond drill bits should be used only in true-running machines on flat glass surfaces.

The CRL PD Series features an extra-long 1-3/8" x 3/8" (35 x 10 mm) straight shank for a secure grip in production equipment.
