The CRL Left Hand Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch with Support Fin Bracket (SKU: PH41RBS) supports a transom from a sidelite glass panel and integrates with CRL top door patch fittings for secure transom-to-door connections. Includes an INT300 insert for mounting doors with CRL PH20A or PH21A top door patch fittings. For single-door installations the insert can be removed on the non-hinged side to permit a double-swinging door. Use the INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert to create a one-way door, or install the INT305 Transom Patch Keeper Insert for use with an AMR205 lock in top-of-door applications. The support fin glass must be sized per approved design criteria (see GANA or manufacturer manuals) and secured to the ceiling with a Ceiling Mounted Support Fin Bracket for optimum transom support.


If the transom weight exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), the transom must be independently supported from the ceiling to prevent patch slippage. For heavier transoms consider Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Contact our Technical Sales Department for specification assistance and installation guidance.
