Overview
GE® 1200 Construction Silicone Sealant is a high modulus, high strength silicone designed for a wide temperature use range, creating permanent watertight bonds.
This one-part building and glazing acetic cure silicone sealant cures to a tough, flexible rubber through the moisture cure process, effectively sealing building joints to protect against rain, air, and noise.
Perfect for weatherproofing building material junctions, it is ideal for sealing curtain walls, mullions, and other construction joints, as well as glazing steel and aluminum windows.
Meeting or exceeding stringent standards such as Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A and ASTM C-920, GE® 1200 is not intended for structural glazing or use on masonry surfaces.
For best results, check the cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations, and explore comparable sealants from top brands like CRL, Dow Corning®, and Tremco®.
