GE® SilPruf® Silicone Sealant (SKU: SCS2009) is a one-part, neutral-cure silicone formulated for weatherproofing and glazing. It reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a low-modulus, long-lasting silicone rubber seal that accommodates up to ±50% dynamic joint movement—ideal for perimeter joints, expansion joints, and glazing applications subject to movement.

Basic Uses
SilPruf® seals assemblies of metals, masonry, concrete, coated surfaces, plastics, wood, and other common building materials. Designed for butt joints and lap-shear joints in building joint weatherproofing, it provides strong primerless adhesion to most substrates for faster installation without a separate primer in many applications.

Limitations

Technical Data
Meets or exceeds Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A (COMNBS) Class A and complies with ASTM C1184 and ASTM C920 (Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, G, A and O), making it suitable for many commercial silicone sealant and silicone glazing applications.
