CRL Foam Glazing Tape (SKU: 74418X34GRY) is a closed-cell polyethylene foam glazing sealant supplied as preformed tape. The aggressive acrylic adhesive positions and holds the foam on curved or irregular surfaces with slight pressure, making it ideal for exterior glazing, repositionable glass applications, and fenestration projects requiring reliable, removable seals.

Designed as a primary or secondary seal for a wide range of glazing systems, this self-shimming tape eliminates the need for separate shims or spacers. Its patented cellular foam construction resists water absorption and long-term weathering, providing a durable, long-lived seal for windows, doors, louvers, demountable partitions, and access panels.

Joints sealed with CRL Foam Glazing Tape with adhesive on one side can be opened, closed, and repositioned without the sticky mess of conventional sealants. The non-adhesive face releases cleanly from most surfaces, and the tape recovers most of its original thickness after compression for repeatable use.

Installation notes: Maintain a minimum of 30% compression for an effective moisture seal. In small lites, compression may be achieved by applying pressure when installing glazing stops; in most installations a compression wedge gasket is recommended. Apply tape with firm, uniform pressure to a clean, dry surface without stretching (the paper liner will indicate stretching). Cut and butt corners—do not overlap—and apply a thin bead of an approved sealant at intersections after liner removal. Compatible with most sealing and glazing compounds.
