CRL 95C Silicone (SKU: 95CGRY) is a one-part, low-modulus, neutral-cure silicone sealant that cures to a durable, flexible silicone rubber building joint seal. Designed as a weatherproof glazing and curtain wall sealant, it accommodates ±50% joint movement in properly designed joints and provides primerless adhesion in most applications. Typical uses include sealing expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal curtainwalls, non-structural glazing of glass, metal and plastics, and perimeter waterproofing for doors and windows.

CRL 95C bonds watertight to glass, ceramics, plastics, stone, masonry, wood, steel, anodized and mill-finish aluminum, and painted surfaces (in most cases no primer required). It can be applied to clean, dry, frost-free surfaces between -20°F (-29°C) and 130°F (54°C). Cured sealant performs from -40°F (-40°C) up to 350°F (177°C). For certain substrates, Cat. No. S1L2100 primer may be required. CRL 95C is compatible with laminated glass, insulating glass units, and acrylic or polycarbonate glazing sheets; it can be used as a weather seal for IG units produced with a variety of primary sealants.

BASIC USES
Sealing expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal curtainwalls; non-structural glazing of glass, metal and plastic; perimeter and weatherproofing seals for doors, windows and storefronts. In most cases no primer is required — ensure surfaces are properly cleaned and tool the sealant for optimum adhesion. Test compatibility with specialty coatings and polycarbonate where stress cracking may occur.

COMPARABLE SEALANTS
Dow Corning® 795, 791; GE® SilPruf® 2000; Tremco® Spectrem® 2, Spectrem® 3; Pecora® 864, 895; Sonneborn® OmniSeal; Sika® SikaSil®-WS95

LIMITATIONS
Not for structural glazing, horizontal decks, patios, driveways, terrace joints subject to abrasion, submerged joints, or exterior/interior sealing below the waterline in marine applications. Do not use in totally confined/air-free spaces or on surfaces that will be painted after application (paint will not stretch with the sealant). Neutral-cure by-products may stress-crack some polycarbonate—test before use. Do not apply to surfaces
