CRL 95C Silicone (SKU: 95CWHT) is a one‑part, low‑modulus, neutral‑cure silicone sealant that cures to a durable, flexible rubber seal. Designed for expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal curtain walls, CRL 95C is also ideal for non‑structural glazing of glass, metal and plastic, perimeter weatherproofing of doors and windows, and general waterproofing applications. It provides primerless adhesion in most cases and accommodates ±50% joint movement in properly designed joints.

CRL 95C bonds watertight to glass, ceramics, plastics, stone, masonry, wood, steel, anodized and mill‑finished aluminum, and painted surfaces. It can be applied at outdoor temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C) (surfaces must be clean, dry, frost‑free) and on surfaces up to 130°F (54.4°C). Cured sealant performs from -40°F (-40°C) to 350°F (177°C). These features make it a reliable silicone sealant for cold‑weather application and high‑temperature performance in building envelope and glazing projects.

BASIC USES
Sealing expansion and control joints in precast concrete and metal curtainwalls; non‑structural glazing of glass, metal and plastics; weather seals for insulating glass units; and perimeter sealing of doors and windows. Compatible with laminated and insulating glass, acrylic and polycarbonate glazing sheets. In most cases no primer is required; when needed use Cat. No. S1L2100 primer. Clean, dry, and tool all joints for best adhesion.

COMPARABLE SEALANTS
Dow Corning® 795/791; GE® SilPruf® 2000; Tremco® Spectrem® 2/3; Pecora® 864/895; Sonneborn® OmniSeal; Sika® SikaSil®-WS95.

LIMITATIONS
Not for structural glazing, horizontal decks, patios, driveways, terrace joints subject to abrasion, submerged joints, or interior/exterior sealing below the waterline in marine use. Do not use in confined or air‑free spaces, or on joints that will be painted after sealant application (paint adhesion not adequate). Neutral‑cure byproducts may stress‑crack polycarbonate—test before use. Do not apply to surfaces in direct contact with food. See cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for full limitations.
