CRL 95C Silicone (SKU: 95CDBRZ) is a one‑component, low‑modulus, neutral‑cure silicone sealant that cures to a durable, flexible rubber seal. Designed for construction and glazing applications, it accommodates ±50% joint movement in properly designed joints and provides reliable primerless adhesion to most substrates—glass, metals, plastics, masonry, stone, wood and painted surfaces.

CRL 95C is formulated for sealing expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal curtain walls, non‑structural glazing of glass, metal and plastic, and waterproofing/perimeter sealing of doors and windows. It bonds watertight to most building materials in any combination and is compatible with laminated and insulating glass, acrylic and polycarbonate glazing sheets.

Application temperature range: can be applied outdoors as low as -20°F (-29°C) (surfaces must be clean, dry and frost‑free) up to 130°F (54.4°C). Cured sealant performs between -40°F (-40°C) and 350°F (177°C).

BASIC USES

Sealing expansion/control joints, non‑structural glazing, weather seals for insulating glass units, and general waterproofing in commercial construction. In most cases no primer is required; when needed use Cat. No. S1L2100 Primer. Always clean and tool for optimal adhesion. Test compatibility on specialty substrates prior to use.

COMPARABLE SEALANTS

Dow Corning® 795/791; GE® SilPruf® 2000; Tremco® Spectrem® 2/3; Pecora® 864/895; Sonneborn® OmniSeal; Sika® SikaSil®‑WS95.

LIMITATIONS

Not for structural glazing, horizontal decks/driveways/terraces subject to abrasion, submerged joints, marine below‑waterline sealing, totally confined or air‑free spaces, or locations intended to be painted after application. Neutral cure by‑products may stress crack or craze polycarbonate—test before use. Do not apply to surfaces in direct contact with food. See cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for full details.
