This aluminum extrusion was developed for three primary uses:

• As a U-channel that matches the width of our sidelite rails and door rails;
• As a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of doors;
• As an even sight line system—secure the fabricated narrow header to the opening, then attach the sidelite rail to the header using the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle for a uniform appearance.
