This stainless steel cladded aluminum extrusion (SKU: NH2PSSL) was developed for three primary glass door and storefront applications:

(1) As a U-channel that matches the width of our sidelite rails and door rails for a continuous sight line;

(2) As a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of doors (ideal for pivot door headers);

(3) As an even sight line system—secure the fabricated narrow header to the top of the opening, then attach the sidelite rail to the narrow header with the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle. All drilling, tapping, and fabrication can be completed during manufacturing to save installation time.
