Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SSA34SL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System. This patented glass door rail for commercial glass doors secures glass by applying downward pressure with two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat into an angled groove in the rail so the wedge action pulls the extrusions together, compressing the specially designed door retaining gasket to create exceptional glass-holding force (over 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail). Imagine the holding strength across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rail.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers more than secure attachment — it dramatically reduces installation time. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® door rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The adjustable door alignment system (standard on top and bottom rails) allows 1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
