Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SSA34S), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This glass door rail system secures glass by applying downward wedge pressure from two retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to pull the retaining pieces together, delivering extraordinary clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) — and even greater force across the full 35-3/4" door rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation and reliable long-term performance. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, simply attach your door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune the door 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door (standard on both top and bottom rails). To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide also allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
