Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The system secures monolithic tempered glass in the door rail by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. Angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to generate high retention force (measured at more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering secure glass retention across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System provides fast installation for commercial glass doors and storefronts. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in less than ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready to install with end caps installed. After installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door (standard on both top and bottom rails). Remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned other than the American Standard setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
