CRL UV601 (SKU: UV60130) is a low-viscosity, 100% solids UV curing adhesive that forms resilient, high-strength bonds between glass, metal, wood, and many plastics. Ideal for optical applications and glass-to-glass bonding where appearance is critical, UV601 is commonly used for bonded glass showcases, tempered glass-to-tempered glass assemblies, and glass furniture production.
Because of its excellent capillary action and optical clarity, CRL UV601 is well suited for precision glass bonding and other applications needing an optically clear UV adhesive. The adhesive cures within seconds under ultraviolet light; cure speed depends on UV intensity at the product surface and adhesive depth. Store adhesive away from sunlight.
Cleaner and Degreaser should be used first to remove dirt and grease for optimum adhesion.
Note: When bonding plastics, always test first—some plastics cannot be bonded properly. Do not bond any coated parts (powder coated or galvanized) with this adhesive.
